    Pollard Rho Algorithm (Factorisation)
    I just want to confirm for the pollard rho method for factorisation, does this work for any starting value and any polynomial function of degree greater than one? Also if yes, is there a standard function and starting value thats usually chosen to speed things up? Thanks
