Can i still get an a* in physics
    Hi all,
Im curious to know whether i can still get an a* overall in physics(OCR). At the moment I'm feeling down on myself because i cant see myself getting an A* with the B I got at the start my gcse's.

Currently ive got(in terms of marks):
38/50 p1,p2,p3 Not a good start for me
    40/40 coursework maxed it
    42/50
I'm still yet to do P7 at the end of this month and was wondering if i can get an a* overall. If i can; what grade/UMS mark do i have to achieve to get that a*?

    Thanks.

The good news is that there is still a possibility of you getting an a*!
The B that you got at first is not as important because it is only 1/6 of the overall grade.

You need to get 270/300 UMS marks to get an a*
If you got full marks on coursework, then you should get 100UMS marks for that.

    100 + 38 + 42 = 180 UMS marks

the P7 exam is also out of 100UMS marks.
so you need to get at least 90/100UMS mark (the lowest A*) on the P7 exam to get an A* overall
