Your teacher is there to teach you and shouldn't get annoyed if someone doesn't understand something/ask questions. However, they're only human and it's normal for them to come across that way if you don't understand something after repeated explanations or if they've just had loads of people asking.
Once you're in sixth form (dunno if you are or not), the teachers seem really open to questions, or at least they do in my school, probably because we end up talking about something not covered on the syllabus and that can be a fairly interesting discussion for both the pupils and teacher.

Either way, your teacher is there to teach and you have done nothing wrong, (unless you do what most maths teachers in particular hate- ask a questions, get told to practise after being given an explanation/walk-through, not done any practise and then complain you don't understand again).

They're there to help you learn and understand so they shouldn't. But fi you keep asking questions about stuff they've told you then I can imagine them getting annoyed.

Although my gcse chemistry teacher was amazing and found several different ways of explaining the same thing and never seemed bored or frustrated.

teachers hate when 10 people ask the same question just after he has explained it

Yes, they're only human after all. Try to ask some questions to your friends as well. I've luckily got a mate that pretty much absorbs info like a sponge so ask him as well as the teachers when I just can't grasp something. Even if teachers get annoyed though they should still help you providing you're doing your best to understand the information :yy:

Possibly annoyed that you ask a lot of questions and that the lesson is not progressing because of it?

but you didn't ask the same questions over and over, so I don't think you've done anything wrong. Although I wouldn't be surprised of this, maybe some teachers wouldn't mind you asking a load of questions so it depends on the teacher as well and maybe the subject.
