Changing to an Economics Degree without A-level economics
    Hey guys,
I'm currently doing maths and finance degree at uni, and wanting to change the maths to economics, which is a viable option at the moment.
Will not doing Economics at a-level hinder my progress with this degree. I heard as I'm doing maths it will be good for me, as I've already done it at degree level for 2 years.
All views are greatly appreciated, but I would especially like to hear from people who haven't done A-level Economics, did an economics degree and performed well.

    Thanks

I'm yet to see an economics degree which requires you to have done A level economics. As long as you did maths (and did fairly well in it) you'll be fine.

The key thing to understand is that A-Level Economics is nothing like university level economics. I did A-Level Economics and believing it will be similar at university gives you a false sense of direction.

If you are already on a Maths and Finance programme, and have done economics modules for the past two years, and now you want to switch to Maths with Economics, then go for it.
