The linear was difficult, what did you get for the length of the new road a-j. With the speed?

I didn't complete that question as I was spending all my time on the last question. D: A sudden brainwave at the end hopefully saved a good few marks.

58.5 I think, something along those lines.

Paper went ok... made a few mistakes though, linear programming was weird.

I got 58.5km also did NOT get the linear programming!? Which meant I couldn't do the rest of the q, so lost quite a few marks there..apart from that it wasn't toooooo bad!

the Linear equations part was tricky and IMO the graph theory question was hard.

Overall I think it was a harder decision 1 papers but I hope I have done enough to get and A as I got a B last time I sat the exam.

i got 100 soft, 400 medium and 50 firm. so 550 in total.
Also got 58.5km. The vast range of answers that people had at my school for the paper suggests that the grade boundaries will be extremely low.

of, finally, do you reckon that they would accept (n-1)+(n-2)+(n-3)+(n-4)....+(n-n) for the number of edges in a complete graph with n nodes. Yes i agree - graph theory is horrendous!

But the max was 500 wasn't it? If so you can't have that

1280 somin like that for the chinese postman rings a bell...??

I can remember getting 97 for the prims.
the MST was a double headed arrow.

then there were two questions about the last edges using prims from dif. places... i think the first was just the same, then the second was the bottom edge on the arrowhead on the LHS (does that make sense?)

Why was the max 500? The only limit was the cost surely?

What a beautiful exam! Couldn't believe that tracing algorithm was 6 marks but hey ho!

What were people's problems with the linear programming? I thought it was one of the best LP questions I've done because the maximum was easy to find and nice numbers (100,400) leading to 550 total (100 soft, 400 medium, 50 firm)
