Can i pull out of an exam the day before?

I've got an exam in two days, is it too late to ask the school to cancel it for me?
Could they force me to take it, and if i don't turn up what happens

It's possible to withdraw up to early July but it is now too late for the school to get a refund, so many schools will charge you for the waste of their money.
