Re: Have you ever won a competition is so whatIn primary school I won a competition to design a hymn book cover (even though my drawing skills are rubbish- I think someone who was judging must have felt sorry for me). Prize was this little clay angel from the Black Forest (it was a Catholic school).
Then in year 11 I won a photography competition. Prize was a book on creative photography

Re: Have you ever won a competition is so whatI won a competition on PC Gamer to come up with a fantasy peripheral that bagged me a sick new mouse and some gaming lights which I can flog for about £50. Other than that, just academic stuff like the UK maths challenge cup at my school and the governor's award for best GCSE results (this one came with quite a hefty book token, which was nice).

It was just a game with my name on it.
I assume i must have entered a competition, and not remembered.
My sister once won a playstation off CBBC when we were younger and watched all that Blue Peter stuff

Re: Have you ever won a competition is so whatI won lots of junk from CBBC back in the late 90s, a couple of years ago I won loads of gadgets from a magazine competition - stuff like a camera, DVD player, phone etc. I sold most of them because I already had them all
Last year I won free tickets to see my favourite band at the iTunes Festival, that's probably my best one yet!

I won a Fashion writing competition by Freemans and got an iPad, I designed an outfit and won £300 to spend at All Saints, and for another outfit design I won some Irregular Choice shoes from Asos - pretty much, if I see a comp to do with fashion, I enter! Ha ha.
I was also a runner up in the 'Balloonacy' game run by Orange and won a safari holiday to Livingstone Lodge. Best reward for procrastination ever. -

Re: Have you ever won a competition is so whatIf I actually think about it I've been quite lucky (as in the number of things I've won), when I was about 5/6 myself and my mum won a raffle to meet George Takei (oh my), I won some competition on cartoon network, and got a shirt a hat and some other stuff. I also won a competition on the Disney channel when I was about 10 for stereo thing.
I also won one of the survey prizes that they have on here, the month before it was a PS3, the one I win is a Thai hamper (lol) it had loads of curry pastes, Thai beer and other stuff like that lol, I still have a lot of it

And I've won 7 pairs of tickets to the iTunes festival over the last two years to see Foals and Two Door Cinema club (won twice), Amy McDonald, Beady Eye, My Chemical Romance, Glasvegas and The Script. And I won tickets to a Comedy Gala at the Albert Hall with Jimmy Carr, Jason Manford, Alan Davies amongst others.
