Find the radius of a circle inscribed within a sector?

Find the radius of a circle inscribed within a sector?Night before the exam and I'm still revising- I know, I'm terrible.
Came across a question in the June 2011 C2 paper and I have no idea how I'm supposed to do it. The mark scheme didn't make any sense and all the solutions I found didn't give me the answer specified in the mark scheme when I tried them out.
That's the question- part (b) is the one I don't understand. How on earth do I do that? (also, I was not aware anything like that was even on the syllabus)
