Nope, my head of sixth form is my referee (he is everybodies and wouldn't allow us to get them done from anybody else).

Some days he can be the nicest guy ever, other days he can be a prat. Apparently he and the rest of sixth form turn very dull on results day and do very little to help anybody who never got their grades. So another teach gave me his number and told me he would do his best as he has done with students in previous years
Yes, but the unis need this information before results are published. Otherwise it just sounds like excuses.

Thank you! I just contacted them via email, greatly explaining everything in a little more detail than I did on here.

Here is to hoping for a miracle.

UCL is my firm to do Economics Bsc, and Nottingham is my insurance to do Economics and Econometrics
I got rejected from both LSE and Warwick for Economics haha
UCL is BOSS and nottingham is great too

Arghhhhha I bumped into my History/Politics teacher today and he asked how both of my exams went :O I just want to get in yknow...

So LSE asks for AAA - if I get AAB (with extentuating circumstances) do you think they would let me in anyway? Warwick - AAB , if I get ABB do u think they will let me in?

Haha UCL is "boss" , but LSE is even better, but thanks! I reckon you could get in. The things it depends on is how manyoffers were given, how many people met their offer and your household income(as government want to reduce income inequality). Good luck to you I'm sure you'll be fine! I on the other hand need A*AA for UCL or A*ABB for nottingham

well i needed A*A*A for my course (with A* in maths and physics. How harsh is it that they have even specified the subjects) and i think i missed out on the grade in physics. ARGH! but then again seeing that the offer was so fricking harsh i wouldnt be that surprised if i missed the grade. But ill be quite sad tbf. oh well such is life.

Before my exams I was unhealthily confident I would meet my offer with ease! Now however I am absolutely ****ting it. Really have no idea. I was getting A's in all my mocks, then in my first exam I got unlucky with a question and had a mini panic attack. My English exam? Who knows.. seriously, absolutely no idea how that went. Leaning towards the horrible. My saving grace is that I think I aced History, just got to pray and hope. Good luck to everyone.

Yes! Contacted admissions with my cause, of how much the P.E department put our entire class at a disadvantage of achieving our best grades.

They replied telling me that if I could get an official contact from somebody at my school to basically back up my claims, that a note would be attached to my UCAS application for who ever views it on results day, so that they will give me greater consideration if I haven't achieved the B grade that I need.

    Seems positive

SO glad to know that I'm not alone. My friends always think I'm ungrateful for moaning about a job which is kind of true, but unless you've done the job it's hard to emphasis. I think the whole routine of it is half the problem!

That must have been hell, but respect to you for sticking through it! I on the on the other hand hope to hand in my resignation on my next shift after results day (touchwood)
Yeah not gunna lie, it was pretty dire. However looking back, I'm SO glad I did it...managed to save up quite a bit for uni which was a total godsend. Stick it out as long as you can. You will seriously appreciate the extra cash when you're a poor student

I have been freaking out for so long and finally, yesterday I met my offer. I ascertain you that most of you are going to make your offers and your worries are unjustified

Good luck everyone. London, here I come!
