What about

A-48
B-43
C-38
D-33
E-28

It will be awesome if the grade boundaries will be this low.

We're trying to remember the questions, but I doubt many people will be able to get it earlier than tomorrow :P

I atleast want a B this year. No chance for an A now, unless the grade boundaries are like this :

A - 22
B - 17
C - 12
D - 7
E - 2
U - 0

Really difficult paper! Hopefully grade boundaries will be really low.
For Q6 I got X=-0.175As Y= X^3 - 4X^2 + 5X + 1 and Z = 3X^2 - 8X + 5
So you get
X=0 Y=1 Z=5 W=-0.2

X=-0.2 Y=-0.168 Z=6.72 W=-0.175

X=-0.175 Y=-2.86*10^-3 Z=6.49 W=0.17456

Where |X-W|<0.05
X=-0.175
If i remember correctly . . .? Did anyone else get this?

You can't use this as an example because there was an impossible question that year which they disregarded when working out marks.

It'd more productive if we tried to put together a markscheme than to guess the grade boundaries...
Or we should all totally forget this never happened, and concentrate with our other exams. Which probably be more wiser.

**** d1.

When they check through the paper to see if it's ok for time, they need to get randoms to check it...not people that spend their lives doing discrete/decision maths or computer science.

Surely for the second iteration:

$X-W=-0.2-(-0.175)=-0.2+0.175=-0.025$

Therefore

$-0.05<-0.025<0.05$
