Anyone who even thinks super highly that mediocre Brazil team of 2002 as one of the most amazing ever, the team that won the worst world cup ever (a world cup they were not even supposed to win due to being in such ****e form) thanks to being drawn in a very easy group and seeing the other big and more fancied teams get screwed over, is definitely retarded and should not even dare talk about football as it becomes more and more obvious they know f*** all. And regardless of age seeming not to bother knowing anything about football from before they started following it, well I pity them.

    Henrik Larsson.

"In April 2006 it was reported that team mate Ronaldinho said of Larsson- "With Henrik leaving us at the end of the season this club is losing a great scorer, no question. But I am also losing a great friend. Henrik was my idol and now that I am playing next to him it is fantastic. He is a real friend and that is a pleasure. I just want to enjoy the remaining time he has with us rather than dwell on what we will be missing when he's gone. I haven't tried to convince Henrik to stay at Barcelona. I respect him so much that I can't try to influence his decision. It's something he has thought about for a long time. I'm not happy he's leaving but I'm not going to pressure him at all. At Henrik's age many players announce their retirement from international football but no one I know his age is at the great physical level Henrik is at right now. He could play at the highest level for a long time.""

Tbf, thanks to the pathetic Fifa ranking and pot seed system they use to decided groups, ALL WC winners generally come from a ****ty group. I mean ffs in the last WC the supposedly group of death consisted of Brazil, an extremely overrated Portugal, Ivory Coast (they don't perform in tournaments), and North Korea.

Italy in 2006 came from quite a challenging group with one of the hard-to-beat Eastern Europe dark horses and also arguably the best team in Africa. ****ty group? I don't think so?
Remind me who Brazil had in 2002? China and Costa Rica - when they could have had far more difficult alternatives.

Back on topic if I have to choose a slightly more recent footballer that genuinely did entertain - Matt Le Tissier.

    Do you have terets?

I wasn't making an example of Brazil in 2002, but I was saying that it's not your job or right to tell people what to think. Besides in the original post, the user mentioned individuals like ronaldo, cafu, rivaldo etc-it was only your half assed decision to jump to conclusions that decided they were discussing Brazil's campaign of 2002.

Gazza is probably my favourite of all time. That celebration after his goal against Scotland in 1996 was brilliant. Very funny guy both on and off the pitch.
