Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
Supposedly Hulk has signed for chelsea for 38m (if he passes his medical) http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footba...lk-deal-856296
Chelsea are also interested in Dembele from Fulham for about 10m ( he has his belgian team mates hazard + lukaku there) as well as Demba Ba for his release clause of 7m.
Man Utd want Modric and will try to lure him with champions league football.
Sunderland are ready to snap up wigans midfielder Mohamed Diame.
Van der vaart is supposedely going to Schalke for 10m after not getting champions league football again.
London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are interested in signing Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin after he said is ready to leave France. -
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadWe can spend over 100m (looks likely) and still be in FFP regulations.(Original post by Tommyjw)
Shall be fun to see how little FFP does.
-
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadLove how that isnt actually true and simlified beyond belief, but whatever.(Original post by JB20)
We can spend over 100m (looks likely) and still be in FFP regulations. -
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadIt is. We spend over 100m we won't get kicked out of Europe. Our sponsors with Sauber and Samsung along with the CL win mean our revenue has shot up.(Original post by Tommyjw)

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadOh its that simple? How amazing, not like there are a whole list of other factors to take into account(Original post by JB20)

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadObviously not but they are the main factors in our increased income this season meaning we can spend more this summer.(Original post by Tommyjw)

I don't know how you can think the club don't know what they're doing when it comes to FFP. -
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadI dont know how your whole argument is based on figures that arent reported facts.(Original post by JB20)

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadIt's basic maths if you add up the TV rights, Sauber and Audi, CL win money also negotiating with Samsung and Adidas for better deals. Players signed before 2010 don't add up to the wage bill under FFP.(Original post by Tommyjw)

Fee's aren't necessarily all paid up front too.
Are you disagreeing with the 100m mark? I don't understand your point. -
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread
latest rumours
Roma are keen on Newcastle defender Davide Santon.
QPR are ready to step up interest in Birmingham goalkeeper Ben Foster by making a £5million offer.
Sunderland are considering a move for Manchester City striker John Guidetti on loan.
West Ham are keen on Senegal defender Abdoulaye Ba. -
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadYeah, they signed him from Reading last summer for a lot of money! He would be good at Championship level but probably couldn't cut it at Premier League standards.(Original post by hbk4894)
Bolton keep being linked with Mills from Leciester , anyone know if he is any good?
He's better than Zat Knight put it that way

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadWest ham didn't meet his wage demands and he's most likely going to QPR (I think).(Original post by boumavilla)
West Ham have signed Jaaskelainen too as a replacement for Green who is leaving for some reason... -
Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadOh, I see. I heard he was going to QPR, to replace the fairly average Paddy Kenny. But I'm surprised that West Ham couldn't meet his wage demands considering he's a much better goalkeeper than Jaaskelainen, and they could afford paying the wages of Cole, Carew and Nolan last season...(Original post by charlie9872)

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour ThreadWell he's not as good as he was but still the best big game player and hardest working player around. Really gutted tbh.(Original post by hbk4894)
Kuyt has left Liverpool today , good or bad Liverpool fans?
Gylfi Sigurdsson looks set to move to Liverpool next week, apparently. After Laudrup was appointed manager he apparently met with them(?) but now wants a move to Liverpool anyway.
