    Since the

    terminal potential difference = EMF - voltage across internal resistance

    Does this mean when the total voltage = EMF (in a series circuit)

    Not sure what youre asking here.

    Kirchoff 2 ; sum of pds = sum of emfs

    Terminal PD + PD across int r = emf

    (I cant bring myself to say voltage )
