Re: AQA GCSE Chemistry Unit 2 24 May 2012Can you remember what the 1st questions were about?(Original post by daniya12)
the question asked why yield would increase if pressure increased:
the answer: because there ar eless particles from the forward reaction.
its a classic question and comes up on every past paper, this is exactly what the mark schemes say -
Thank god I wrote that(Original post by HopelessTurtle)
Alkaline was OH- ions,
and the other one about the Ph being 1, was H+ ions.

That's what I wrote(Original post by kkkkkatie)
for the question that was like 'why if the temp is increased does the yield decrease?' was the answer because the reaction is exothermic

Re: AQA GCSE Chemistry Unit 2 24 May 2012beacuse 34 was the Mr of the whole of ammonia or something, like 2N + 6H = 34(Original post by Zahirajavaid)
How comes u multiplied it by 34
Sorry it's just I can't remember what answer I got I only remember how I worked it out

Re: AQA GCSE Chemistry Unit 2 24 May 2012guys sorry to say but the grade boundaries will be ridiculously high. it might even exceed the all time high of 38 for an A*...(Original post by kkkkkatie)
does anyone have any idea roughly what the grade boundaries will be? -
Re: AQA GCSE Chemistry Unit 2 24 May 2012I hope not! I need an A for this test ( 80 UMS ) !! ;( And i made such STUPID mistakes(Original post by osama2)

Re: AQA GCSE Chemistry Unit 2 24 May 2012hydrogen less reactive i think(Original post by Princess008)
what was the answer ti were you had to tick? -
Re: AQA GCSE Chemistry Unit 2 24 May 2012one of the questions for the yield with the 80kg was the maximum product produced and it actually produced 12kg, that was 15%(Original post by tssf_skye)
I can't remember the questions exactly, but what did everyone write for the stuff on ammonia?
There was one about the yield and pressure.. i can't really remember haha -
Re: AQA GCSE Chemistry Unit 2 24 May 2012What makes you say that?(Original post by osama2)
