I'm not sure. Given the blatant conflict of interest involved it is quite possible that criminal charges might be filed at some point, should the allegations turn out to be true. In that case, it might be beneficial to hold these meetings in camera to avoid prejudicing a jury. On the other hand, the Conservatives could just be trying to hush up an embarrassing flaw in one of their key policies. Who knows?

The only reason the Torys would silence them is due in-part to the idiotic voters in this country thinking they are to blame when in fact it is the labour government who should be hald responsible.

Its a bad day in this country when you need to keep info under the radar should you take the blame for someone else.
