sorry but can somebody explain to me how we were supposed to do 4cii and 4ciii (regarding the calculation questions) please?
    Here you go!

    4c) ii)

Volume of NaOH x Concentration of NaOH / Volume of Vinegar

    (30.5 x 0.5 / 25)

    = 0.61 mol/dm^3

    4c) iii)

Concentration of vinegar x Relative formula mass of ethanoic acid

    (0.8 x 60)

    = 48 g/dm^3

    a dm^3 is equal to 1000cm^3

the question asks for the answer in g/250cm^3

    1000 / 4 = 250

    so

    divide 48 by 4

    (48 / 4)

    = 12g (per 250cm^3)

For the question about 100 degrees, would you get a mark for saying the temperature is too high?

What do people thing grade boundaries are likely to be? :')

And for question 2 about group 1, could you say, they all react with water to form an alkaline solution and they have have 1 electron in the outermost shell?

Ah, yes for both the question about temperature and my two points about group 1? If so, - WOOOO!
n'awww, thanks for the reassurance :') I'd rep you, but I've used my maxiumum for today.

Copy you? ahaha! Nope, did you make the same points? (':

    ZIGGGYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hellllo again!!!

I think the grade boundaries will be low average.. it was mainly okay but there was the odd tough question so... 32 A* maybe

You won't get a mark for "Temperature too high" though

Referance is needed to the fact that the water would boil

Oh, and for the question 1c where we had to say why the results were shocking or whatever, I said that they decreased at 68 degrees, is that just completely wrong? I guessed, haha!

yea i put for last one, that the energy barrier needs to be overcome and thus will provide the minimum amount of energy needed to start the reaction - i remember doing a past paper question on that lol

Whoops.. For the last question I wrote about the fire triangle (how a flame needs oxygen, fuel and heat to burn) so I said heat was needed as there was already fuel and oxygen..
