Changed mind after firming - want to go to Exeter
I have firmed my offer to study Zoology at Royal Holloway and put Reading as my insurance. I did this about 2 months ago. Since then I have regretted this decision and now would like to study Biology, and be further away from home. I have always loved the look of Exeter but never applied there originally as their Zoology course was based on their smaller Cornwall campus that I didn't like as much. Their Biology course is based on the main campus though, so now it would be the perfect place for me. Using the UCAS course search I can see they still currently have places on the course, so is there any way at all I can apply late now despite already having picked a firm/insurance elsewhere? Would I have to withdraw from my current choices first and risk not getting an offer from Exeter?

You'd need to ask them to reject you, and then ou'd enter Clearing. From there you'd need to persuade the new course to accept you. As Clearing isn't open yet there's no guarantee the course will have spaces, or if so that they want you
