Try Games workshop, its geeky and expensive but its also arty, with a great sci fi back ground, good social interaction, games, painting, modeling, muses for writing everything is there.
I secretly collect Imperial Guard....shhhh don't tell anyone, I need to keep up the badass climber who rides motorbikes image ;D

    Airsoft.

You can sink a ton of money and time into it without ever realising. Also, you get to shoot people

Geocaching, juggling, language learning, horse riding, photography, ukulele, baking cakes, Irish dancing, stop-motion animation, origami, shooting, basketball, hiking, knitting, quantum physics, making Youtube videos, scrapbooking, powerbocking, karate, capoeira, painting, pottery, ultimate frisbee, swimming, volunteering, poker, learning to do that thing where you throw a playing card and it can cut through fruit!, learn Latin, volunteer at Scouts, singing, Gregorian Chant, coin collecting, digital art, video games, mountain biking, making ice cream, raising hens, fishing, strict-metre poety, Reddit, acting, watching pretentious foreign films.

    Just a few ideas.

That's only up in North Wales mate! If you're in Brum, that's a couple of hours drive isn't it? Just get out there and do it! I promise you, you won't regret it, it really is more awesome than it looks :'D
Where in North Wales, out of interest?
I used to do indoor bouldering a lot a few years ago, but then I gave up climbing altogether.

Lliwedd, it's pretty much right by Snowdon. That particular route is called Slanting Buttress. It's a very easy climb, It's just it's length that makes it a decent challenge and a good day out :') Wish I was there right now on a day like today

    You should start again! XD

Are you gonna be working there? :O

Edit: Sorry just saw your sig, what are you going to be doing?

On topic: OP, I would suggest you look into something you're interested in, or book a holiday, failing that play video games?
Not to hijack the thread but I'm working in fast food and beverage. With only sales and retail experience. Makes perfect sense lol.

    Windsurfing!
It's something I've always wanted to try, though it isn't so easy living in the city.

Alternatively, learn to play an instrument- time flies

Take up a sport of some kind

Learn a language or a creative art of some kind

Learn a skill and get really good at it

    Find some volunteering

Make a bucket list of stuff you've always wanted to do - then start working through it

If you're under 25, see if you can start DofE - a productive way to spend your time doing that kind of stuff and you'll get a qualification at the end that employers love...
