how soon can i sign on jobseekers after uni ends?

    how soon can i sign on jobseekers after uni ends?
    i finish uni officially on 11th june, but of course the term doesn't finish until beginning of july. can i sign on as soon as my course finishes, or do i have to wait until the uni term finishes?

    don't bother replying telling me to get a job- i am trying!

    You have to wait until the official end of your course unfortunately, so if that's not until the beginning of July, that's when you can claim from.

    Pretty sure its when your course officially finishes, as before then you are still considered in education. Good luck with the job hunt.

    Its not until the date the course officially finishes, sometime in July.

    Also the Job Centre aren't known for beingvery quick giving you any money after you first apply, I think it takes around two weeks from application until its approved.

    A bit rubbish I know
