Hey, what did everyone think of this years Physics exam?

Was anyone else a little surprised by the ultrasound question, and do you think the grade boundaries will be high or low?

It was kind of hard. what do you think?

What did you put for the kinetic energy answer?

Ke energy was 1.6x10-19 x 150 so the answer is 2.4x10-17
Number going through a point was something like 4.5x10 17 so something like that

All in all I felt it was the hardest of all the EDEXCEl science exams but it still was fairly easy I thought.

The ultrasound was slightly weird. It wasn't hard it was just unusual . For example having to draw the beams of radiation was a bit pointless, it was practically impossible to not hit the spine.

It said name to factors of Ultrasound for total refraction to occur?

    1. I wrote that it mustn't be bent too sharply
    2. The angle of reflection needs to have a greater critical angle that angle of incidence

    Would this be right?

For the KE one it was 140V (not 150) X 1.6x10-19
