    I have just sent my SF application off, and was wondering how long does it take for the letter you ahve to sign and send bakc take to come?

    It's supposed to take up to 6 weeks, based on the experience of me & my friends it takes 6 - 8 weeks. Unless they have to clarify anything/ask for evidence etc in which case the request will take 6 - 8 weeks and then any further requests will take another 6 - 8 weeks and then once all evidence etc is in it will take another 6 - 8 weeks to send the letter you have to sign and return.

    So will it miss deadline? or is it ok as long as I have sent it before the dealine which I have done

    The deadline is just the date you have to submit it by. The reason it's so early is to make sure they process it in time to pay you in September/October depending on when you start. It doesn't actually need to be processed by the end of this month.
