£200 you'll get back and honestly you won't be washing stuff every week mainly because of the time it takes.

£30 a week on clothes, most students dont spend that in a month.

This isn't a critiscm just pointing out where you'll save money.

One thing I notice you've budgeted nothing for nights out but just transfer the £30 for clothes into nights out and you're good.

Also well done on building in £200 misc fund you'd be amazed at the random stuff you sometimes need to pay for.

Finally £150 for books if you use www.alibris.co.uk I can guarantee it will not cost you that much I think I got my 10 course books for about £30 in total.
The thing is i bet most people will have more clothes than me as of the moment so i know it's quite a lot, but it is a sort of compensation for my younger days haha. Also with the nights out, that's why i put £50 a week despite being catered for evening meals.. Do you think that wouldn't be enough? I really have no idea how much I should budget for nights out. Also, thanks for the website link but did you do straight Economics? I just searched for a book and it was £22.00 so...

Pre-drinking is key. You could easily spend £50 at a club in an hour tbh. Drinks are ridiculously extortionate. But pubs are quite good considering, probably only a little more expensive than nottingham.

Nights out in London I have no idea and my advice with Econ text books go back one maybe 2 editions at most the content is nigh on the same but at vastly reduced prices. Don't go too far back though I got a first edition of a book referring to the Iron Curtain and Sovier Union in the present tense.

Also wait until you get to uni to buy the books as some are listed but never ever used.
