Student Finance Deadline Question

Student Finance Deadline QuestionThe deadline for SFE is 31st of May. Now I have applied but I've yet to enter any bank account details because I haven't opened one yet. My question is that do I have to enter these details by the deadline? I'mm worried that if the deadline does include this I won't get it done on time! SFE also sent me a reminder too so I'm really confused and worried!

Re: Student Finance Deadline QuestionNo, you don't have to. Don't worry about it. Your application will be approved and your payment schedule set up etc, without your bank details. As long as you have entered them a short while (I think they recommend at least 2 weeks before to be on the safe side) before your first payment is due you should get them on time.(Original post by Kingbradley6)

I could only open a bank account after I'd moved into halls when I first started uni and in the end it only delayed it by a day or two. I think I was meant to get it on the Monday, didn't manage to open an account until the Tuesday, went straight home and put my bank details in and had the money by the Thursday the same week (as I remember it...certainly didn't take longer than a week between putting my bank details in and getting my money). -
