I can't really be bothered to go through and screenshot my games so make do with my steam calculator list. Although its not very accurate since many of my games were brought on sale.

    Re: Steam library thread?
I'm an avid PC gamer, but I only really play the bigger titles that are still stand-alone, like Starcraft, LoL, etc.

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but the steam client takes up so much of my RAM that I get horrendous clipping and loss of framerate in most games, making it unplayable. For example I can't even play Team Fortress with all the settings turned to low, on a 30MB internet connection. Anyone got any suggestions? I want to play DotA2 at the moment, for example, but can't because of how steam just ****s on all my resources

I don't see what your internet speed has to do with how much RAM steam takes up...

One thing you could do is close all steam windows and to make sure you disable the steam overlay before playing. Also, being offline in the friends menu might help slightly.

I mentioned my internet speed to avoid having people ask "maybe your internet speed is too slow"

by 'disable the steam overlay' do you mean close the steam client after starting the game?

Do what you mentioned, but what I was talking about was when you right click a game in your library, go to properties, and there will be an option to enable/disable the overlay. Disable it to free up some RAM

Do people really use those big ugly icons?

Also a severe lack of categorizing your steam list guys.

My steam calculator link will have to do for now, I don't have steam installed on this pc.

This added $99.99 to my total for CS:CZ Deleted Scenes.

I don't remember it ever being available for that price...
