Could someone help me on how to restore my computer to factory setting? im running on window 7. Im not sure if i have this disk thing, but can i still restore my computer without it? thanks

Re: Window 7 Restore to factory SettingSounds right to me, computers these days have partitions on the hard drive that store a copy of the factory install so you can reinstall the OS without needing a disc.(Original post by Gary)
Apprently i just click on Acer eRecovery Management and then just click system restore to factory defults?
Although it is a lot easier to tell a person to get a windows install disc than it is to explain how to use the recovery partition. (If the computer has one) -

When you start up your computer you should get the Acer logo appear. I'm not sure with acer but at the top of bottom is text which says something along the lines of [f3] for system boot etc one of them should be system restore. Some laptops have this feature....others don't
