i got 2.2kg. Doubt that's right.
well 2.2 is what i got, cross fingers it right! you had to use the mass of the boy multiplied by the speed/velocity he jumped off at and then use that answer and divide it by the speed the skateboard carried on at or something.

55kg x 0.4= 22
22 divided by 10= 2.2kg <--(mass of skateboard)
5. Re: P2 Additional Science Next week!!
Q1 was a time and distance graph. a) when was the dog walker travelling the fastest? A, B. C, or D? Explain your answer
6. Re: P2 Additional Science Next week!!
Can anyone briefly explain how grades work for double science? Do they take an average of every unit 2 exam we do in UMS, including the ISA and then come up with a grade? That's what I heard from my friends but would just like some conformation.

that's exactly what I put!. Also, I wrote the formula to work out mass (mass=momentum/velocity). Just to make it look better. What did you get for the kinetic energy question. I did 0.5x 120kg x 36= 2160J

I got b too
what about kinetic energy question and momentum of skateboard. I got 2160J and 2.2kg
11. I got 2.2 too

Was it about the rod and cloth thing?

i dont think i got that for the kinetic energy question :/ but yeh, i put the momentum=massxvelocity equation to make it look better too
17. Re: P2 Additional Science Next week!!
i think rod and cloth was Q3 or Q4 maybe... it really hard to remember
18. Unofficial markscheme??

19. What was the kinetic energy question about again?

This was posted from The Student Room's iPhone/iPad App
20. There was the question about velocity and the cloth and rod thing, the bike, the skateboard, series circuit, nuclear
What other questions were there?
