Maybe I'm acting like an old man or maybe I'm just weird
But is there nobody like me?

A few months ago I split from ym gf, she was a lovely girl the type of reserved lovely girl that had nothing fake about her whatsoever and was one of those people that was renowned for being so lovely.

We recently broke up and she's just turned into this crazily different person, she doesn't enjoy drinking yet always seems pressured into it by her friends and has started wearing mild fake tan and looking really ridiculous (Not that fake tan is a problem but she just isn't one of those people who suit it at all). I can't help but feel that these friends have had such a bad effect on her but anyway that's not the point.

I don't think I'm some super amazing Brad Pitt, but I'm not bad looking, I enjoy my academics but don't let them overbear on me, I have fun, I love a casual drink and I liek to think I'm remotely funny and as a person with okay looks, a bit of a brain and a touch of charisma I'm an okay guy.

However just recently, with the leaving of my gf to become this person who is quite frankly ridiculous it's made me wonder is there anybody like me?

Serioulsy I just want a nice relationship that could last and be serious and just enjoy each other's company with no drama.

Girls always want to complicate it with me and 'see me' or just want sex or whatever.

Is there anybody out there who isn't looking for just ONS and going out getting completely faceless and then decorating themselves as a 'party animal'.

Whatever happened to going for dinner and going to the beach for the day and having a bbq at night with each other before doing something romantic or just catching the train somewhere, going for a meal, going for to a few parties together?

n Tuesday night, me and my housemate (who is also my best friend) got really, really drunk at a club, came home, took a load of mdma and then had a threesome with our male friend that was with us.

About half way through, we kinda pushed the guy away and told him to watch us whilst we had sex (we're both female). From then on we both kept saying how amazing it was and how we both wanted to start sleeping together regularly.

Yesterday, we were both bed-ridden with massive comedowns so we didnt actually see each other. Then today she messaged me whilst I was at work saying she couldnt stop thinking about the other night and asking if it was weird.

If Im completely honest, I really enjoyed it and I want to start sleeping together regularly, but I dont want a relationship with her as I just want to experiment sexually.

We get on really well and I love her to pieces, Im just scared something might go wrong if we start having sex on a regular basis and I dont want to lose her as a friend

I took that from one of your threads, honestly, you don't....

That's kind of what the UK has turned into...I wish I could find a nice girl like the one's you want too. I don't drink much at all and would love a cuddle on the sofa/bed etc.

I'm in bits at that, getting weird looks at everybody.

OP, I'm the same as you, most men probably aren't though, I think it's a minority of both sexes that are like you.

They mostly want to do the party, drink, sex thing when they are young.

I know what I want but I'm in no rush to get it. I'm sure there are some lovely girls out there, I've read threads like this but with women asking the same question.

You're right but it's also worth noting that not all girls act like how they want their relationship. When they are single they will do all the stuff the OP mentioned but may post a thread on here saying they want a relationship etc, men do it too but are more honest about it. A lot of people claim they want something but then go out and do the complete opposite.

Maybe the good girls are on here but on the dating sites it seems they're after something else, I'm trying to put it down to being picky.

Lol, I didn't mean to be a dick but that kind of stuck a nerve. I'm sick of all these girls like you're so lovely, you are so great, you must have really good relationships, I wish I could have sometihng like that.

Then do stupid ****ing stuff like that.

I raged, and, I apologise to Amy if she wants me to delete it I will.

    1) i love barbeques
    2) I also like beaches
    3) getting faceless is fun with friends, but i personally don't think it makes the classiest of dates. i mean, who's attractive when they dribble their drink everywhere, throw up, proceed to drunkenly fall on thier arse and wonder what just happened.
    such girls do exist
