CCEA French A2 reading writing listening
What did you guys think about the french paper? I though the essay question was alright but I found the prose a bit difficult.

I thought it was all fine except for the prose, which was awful! My essay wasn't great either, but that was mostly due to lack of preparation... What book do you guys do?

i thought this exam was actually terrible I found the listening on Nicolas Sarkozy pretty difficult and the gap filling wasn't too good either :/ hopefully I've brought it up in the rest of the exam but who knows..contemplating repeating my AS to bring up marks but I'm already sitting on a high A. Absolutely screwed if I don't get an A in French and this paper has totally disheartened me.

I really liked the l'etranger essay on nature the prose a few words were difficult but I found the reading absolutely deadly ! I guessed most of the fill in the blanks and found the comprehension hard I'm really disappointed because I know the readin has def brought me way down !

Yea I thought the listening was difficult enough I didn't undertsnd the second two questions on the sarkozy bit ! I understood most of it it was just wondering where to put the info because it was onto the nxt question within seconds. Apart from the essay it def was the hardest paper that has been on in the new spec

I thought it was really rather difficult. The reading was about the only redeeming feature!

Alright i'll try go through the answers I got for the SDF, can't remember them all so it's a bit jumbled up.
First was like what was different about this interview with SDF. I got, usually SDF want to let the world know their problem but stephen etc didn't.
2)How is (wherever they were staying) worse than paris. I wasn't too sure about that, I put, in paris there was the metro to stay warm, people gave them bits of food and cups of tea/coffee (wasn't sure about that)
3)What shows that the Parisians thought badly of SDF-I found this really hard to answer but I put, they didn't want to touch their hands when giving them food and they thought they were aggressive/violent.
    4) Why was stephen afraid-someone burning down his tent, and something like someone stealing his food. their was a word in there I didn't understand though
5)The last question was something like what is the association doing to help-I had no idea how to answer that, but I put, they provided them with a place to stay...Something about work I think and then something about three days.

I did symphony pastoral, the essay was pretty good. However I thought the prose was really tough. Lost like three marks in the first line, I had no idea how to say get off (the bus), opposite or town hall! My mind completely blanked, also I had no idea how to say overlooking.

Yeah I do that book as well, I did the Pasteur and Gertrude essay, seemed easier. I think the first line was supposed to be "je venais de descendre de l'autobus en face de l'hôtel de ville" I think, but I'm not sure.
