    What are the AS grade your putting down on you UCAS form likely to look like.

    Most people will have AAAA

    You're not going to know exactly where you stand until you get those results. Even if they aren't A grades, if you can get AAA prediction for next year you'll be fine. I resat a few modules after getting BBBB at AS and ended up with two medicine interviews, so it's more than possible.

    This year I took my AS exams, 4 in January and 4 in June. The jan ones did not go so good, and I do not think these did go so well. Both my grans were seriously admitted to hospital during exam week and I spent most of my time up with them.

    My question is, I would still liek to apply for medicine. This *will* require resitting around 8 modules? Resitting my AS modules during the A2 year.

    How much would this affect my chances of getting in a Uni for Medicine?

    Get the person who writes your reference to mention your grandmothers' hospitalisation in it when they write the reference as it could be counted as a mitigating cirmustance. I'm sure the admissions tutors will understand.
