impossible! I literally guessed the whole thing - everyone at my school found it very hard. hopefully grade boundaries are low, really want an A* D:

Everyone at my school found it really difficult as well. I get A*s on all physics past papers but I have to say this one was just awful.

Same here ! I do the paper 3 ppqs in like 30-45 mins and listening to music and still getting somewhere in between 65-73.

In this one, i spent 75 mins , didn't finish 2 pages, guessed like 3 pages .. realized i lost 15 marks (2 pages ) on silly mistakes beacuse i was so nervous.

Doing the math thats approx. (30-35 marks lost, that is if they count my working in, without that i would easily lose 40 and probably fail!)

All my Physics teachers done me i could get an A, i was confident once i got inside , having done gazillions of pastpapers for it but once i turned to the second page ... my reaction was (?)^infinity....

what the hell.. i mean it is 2012 and we may die soon but please , i wouldn't like the world to end knowing i got a C/D/B in Physics whilst being told i was good at it, i feel like i have be lied to.

The thing is, NO ONE said it was hard as i thought it was. They were all like "Yeah, it was difficult, but i think i did really well"...

I came home crying :'(

It was horrifying , looking at my exam paper , it looked like i knew nothing about physics!

I was seriously gutted when I saw it,
I mean question 1: a BS question on pendulum time period, and a 4 mark question to explain how to do it accurately?
Q2: Seriosuly what is the maximum speed of the graph anyway, never seen anything like that in any past paper, or in my physics book or in my 2 physics revision guides
Question on hydraulics : I found it so difficult and did not understand it
Question on the water jet thing: Difficult to work out
Question on waves: The waves had too small a wavelength for my compass so I couldn't draw them properly
Question on temperature in flask: Did not get that at all, never seen anything like that
Question on electricity: Hard, but about the only one I think I got right
Question on LDR circuit: Hard aswell..

I think that paper was terrible! I mean honestly if you go through past papers, the paper they brought this year was NOTHING like the past ones. I spent majority of the time guessing answers, didn't seem sure about anything. I couldn't get the last bit of the circuit question on resistance. And how was the ammeter reading 0.8A? The question about why initially the water level fell and then rose also didn't make sense to me. I guess the only hope now is low grade boundaries!
