I saw The Story So Far, Transit and Hit the Lights last night at Slam Dunk Scotland in Glasgow and they were all brilliant; especially The Story So Far. My favourite band of late is The Wonder Years. They're just pop punk perfection.

If you haven't already check out Balance and Composure, Valencia, Man Overboard, A Loss For Words, Save Your Breath, Go Radio, Transit and Handguns.

All really great pop punk bands in my opinion

How good was slam dunk! Cancer Bats made it for me though. Are you going to balance and composure or set your goals later on this year?

If you want a lots of bands like this uses the rise records YouTube channel it's got all the albums of a lot of the bands mentioned in this thread and you can download from there too I think.

You'll definitely find people at uni who have the same music taste as you just depends on the course, I don't think many people doing theoretical physics like myself will be into deathcore/hardcore though lol. What one are you going to btw

I'm going to UCL to study Economics. It'll be good to find people who mainly like rock like myself, but as long as they don't have mental problems, I think i'll be okay with them even if they like crap music haha
