I am doing AS Chemistry, AS Maths, AS&A2 Spanish and I almost finished all my exams and I've been thinking about dropping Maths and taking Biology but I've been told that you can't do AS&A2 Biology in the same year, is there any possibility that you actually can?

I suppose, it's up to the sixth form as I know one person who is doing all chemistry (AS & A2) in one year. I think they might allow you to do it if you're are able as Biology is really quite challenging, especially ontop of Maths, Chemistry and Spanish.

I'd speak to your sixth form, as I doubt TSR will give you a definite yes or no answer.

It may be impossible due to timetabling in your school

it depends on your college, and your own rep reall

if they allow it, and you can timetable it within (or even self-teach) than it should be ok, but talk to your subject teacher first, then see the head of year.

oh and with biology i think the problem may be scheduling practical skills? if you can get around that somehow.

oh and its best you sort it now, as you`ll have the summer to sort of start working through stuff!

I've been thinking about this and it seems to me that it's not such a good idea, I just imagined how it would be if instead of maths in as i had chosen biology, it would be much easier, but i guess it's too late to change it.
