The current/prospective UWE students chat thread
The thread for all current & expected future students to tell us a bit about yourself & to just generally chat

Well I'm 20 years old just finished my 1st year of studying Economics at Frenchay. My interests mainly involve playing/following sports but also playing video games, watching TV, trying to enjoy my course more, surfing the web, looking for a job & attempting to get over my self-consciousness around new people in order to enhance my social life

hey, I'm 21, just finished 1st year of Forensic Chemistry, didn't particularly enjoy it so I'm hoping 2nd year will be better! completed a foundation year at Manchester Met first cause I didn't get the grades to get into UWE first time
how's the job hunting going? I'm getting nowhere with it :/ so hard to find a temporary summer job anywhere. and I also see on your profile that you're shy, me too! -
Re: The current/prospective UWE students chat threadYeh the shyness makes it harder for me to go out and make friends with people tbh, I'm fine online but if I meet some new I find it hard to block out thoughts that they're criticising me in their mind over something(Original post by moopmoop)

Prospective UWE student (fingers crossed!!)
So excited to hopefully go here as I loved it when I came for the taster day and the History department seems so interesting. Plus, its a bit sad but its only 1 1/2 hours from my home town and I'v been to Bristol billions of times and just love the city. Came for a night out to Syndicate a few weeks ago and it was fab.
For those of you who already go here, what is it like?? Is it as fab as I imagine it to be :P
xx
