What kind of GCSE are needed to get a science related job?

Good enough grades to get into 6th form or college, then good enough grades to do whatever degree you want. I don't think anyone has actually seriously looked at what GCSEs I have, only to check that I got at least a C in Maths, English and Science.
For reference, I'm a second year chemistry student. -

Dentistry- 6A*s , I think it's pretty similar to medicine in terms of how competitive it is and that there are national minimum standards because obviously, you don't want idiots cutting you open.
you can do any of the rest at pretty rubbish unis - they don't ask for much.
Just work really HARD and you will end up in the job you deserve
Those are the most employable degrees but you may still find it hard if you can only get into a rubbish uni. So get the best grades you can.
I think Imperial have a GCSE minimum standard ? it might be 6A*s too but I may be making this up.
