    What are the EDL?
Serious question, I always see people going on and on about this group in particular.

From what I gather, they're a racist party of some kind? :dontknow:

I thought the government are supposed to get rid of them sorts of parties. The ones which cause grief to pretty much....everyone? :s

Why is the EDL still around?

They're not racist so stop believing all the lies that the biased media and the lib-tards who post here say.

They oppose Islam, and last I checked opposing an intollerant, hate-filled, fascist set of teachings wasn't racist.

The government and biased media are just afraid of the EDL because they're taking a stand against the Islamic threat and as for left-wing groups such as "Unite Against Fascism"... well they need to justify their existance somehow since there is no fascist threat in Britain for them to oppose any more.

They just cry "fascist" and "racist" at the EDL purely to justify their own existance and give themselves something to oppose.

Nearly half of this is, surprisingly, correct.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has less than favourable views of the UAF and their hilariously ironic protests.

They're like the BNP for morons...no wait...the BNP already fulfils that function. They're like the BNP for super morons. Those so moronic that intelligence itself is drawn in by their idiocy and destroyed. Bit like a black hole and light.

EDL because they're taking a stand against the Islamic threat.
They're not racist, don't you contradict yourself in the next paragraph? :dontknow:

Why is Islam such a big threat? It's pretty similar to the other religions based on Abraham...
Surely if they oppose Islam, they should oppose all the other faiths too?

What threat is a religion to people?

Oh come on, there's more to it than just that?

I've seen EDL more and more in the news, causing havoc in cities and really just wondering their purpose :holmes:

No other party, apart from the BNP has to say "We aren't racist" and there's a bloody good reason for that - mainly because other groups aren't racist...

    Why? Islam isn't a race...

There are Middle-Eastern Muslims, East-Asian Muslims, black Muslims, white Muslims etc so no, opposing Islam isn't racist.

As for why is Islam such a threat? Open your eyes and look what's going on in the world. Every country with a sizeable Muslim population has problems. For example...

Britain - Problems with racist Muslim gangs in towns like Halifax, Bradford, Birmingham, Luton and Oldham. Problems with extremists groups such as MAC. Problems with Muslim paedophile gangs such as those found in Derby, Carlisle, Blackpool and Rochdale. Homophobic attacks by Muslims on the gay community in London.

Sweden - Huge problems with Muslim rape gangs in the big cities

France - Big problems in many cities with mainly North African Muslim youth carrying on in the same way Pakistani/Bangladeshi youth do here

Germany - As above but with mainly Turkish Muslims

Holland - As above but mainly with Moroccan Muslims

Nigeria - Weekly attacks by Muslims against Christians. Often ending in death

China - Problems with the Muslim population that resulted in riots a few years ago

America - The obvious Islam related problems

India - Frequent violence and racism towards Sikhs and Hindus

Then there's everything that goes on in Muslim countries such as the stoning of women, burning of churches, attacks on non-Muslims etc.

Islam is a global threat. For example, so far in April there has been...

    Jihad Attacks: 185

    Countries: 26

    Religions targetted: 5

    Dead Bodies: 692

    Critically Injured: 1279

    Shocking figures aren't they?

The EDL is to the BNP as Greenpeace is to the Green Party.

They're extreme right-wingers who inexplicably hate Moslems and who like to point out that they can't be racist because a black guy once walked into a pub they were all in and no one called him a ****** or anything. They're... pretty harmless, though. :pierre:

Ah I see, but what would be the correct term to define 'racism against a religion' - if that makes sense

Being honest, I can see similarities to how Jewish people were treated by Germans during the Holocaust...
There have been ethnic cleansing of Muslims already from what I see on the news, Bosnia? Men, women and children massacred that was an extermination attempt. Shockingly it's similar to what happened to the Jewish.

Oh come on now, I'm sure Islam as a religion does not permit such acts. After all Its similar all Abraham based relgions. It's not a religion that causes people to do bad things, its the people. People harm other people. I don't see why religion would cause people to harm others? :dontknow:

Them figures are in no way shocking, I went to Tanzania last summer. Believe me, there have been more dead in a couple of days than that.

I have a long list of four-letter words that could adequately describe them.
