How do I know if my paper application has been received by Student Finance?
I'm having a bit of a nightmare here. Basically, I applied last year for Student Finance but didn't actually end up going to Uni. This year I logged back onto my account, and It didn't work when I applied, so I rang them up, and they said I was filling in an application as if I was a continuing student. They said they'd sort it out for me, so I wait a week or so and nothing happens. Then I ring up again, tell them the same thing, they said they'd sort it out for me so I can apply as if I was a new student. They didn't. I rang a final time around two weeks ago, and they told me the same thing, but said to fill out a paper application just incase as the deadline is getting near.
Now, I've sent off a paper application, I have a half completed online application for next year which doesn't work, and the deadline is in 5 days and I have no clue whether I will be getting my loans on time next year.
So does anyone who has sent off a paper applicatin know what the procedure is?
