Re: Video and Film Production 2012 Freshers!
Hi, i've done this same course, i really would not recommend this course to anyone, trust me u'll c once you start. i mean if you really looking into getting in the tv/film/video industry, my best advise is to just start working as a running or if you wanna make films. just learn how to do it onilne. trust me, they dont even cover the basic's technical aspects of filming. it's so limited what they teach you. you will learn alot of the theory side of things. but to get in the film industry you honestly dont need a degree, you need experience. you will honestly learn alot more if you just Google things rather then going into to classes.
any way good luck.
let me know how it goes in 3 years time. -
Re: Video and Film Production 2012 Freshers!
Hey I am planning on studying this course in September, I got my accommodation sorted out and received a conditional offer just waiting for the results now.
I've been turned down from other universities so I am praying Wolverhampton say yes because I'm screwed if they don't.
I'm looking forward to meeting you and others, love going out film making.

Re: Video and Film Production 2012 Freshers!
I fell slightly under 200 but I have to wait until the 16th of August if Wolverhampton want to consider me or not. I've gone through a lot of trouble to get this far so I would be upset if they did say no.
I've made some good film projects in my BTEC that I studied but I had to do a lot of others things that I'm not too good at. Baiscally I just like being creative, making scripts, going out filming etc, they liked my folder in the interview so I have my fingers crossed.
I'll give you my facebook in private
