For example, just the right hand side... sometimes, with wirebound notebooks, I find it really awkward to write on the left! Anyone else have this problem?

Always both sides. Don't really like wasting paper + when you finish the book there is an overriding sense of satisfaction when flicking through pages of continuos neatly laid out work

Both. I don't think there is ANY need to waste paper just because you can see the ink on the other side. ludicrous.

Definately one side otherwise you get the pages confused.

Always both sides. It's a huge waste of paper for me to stick to one side as I write a lot of lesson/study/exam notes throughout the year.

I always mark my pages with numbers so that I do not confuse them even though I write on both sides

Both sides. Writing on only one side is like leaving the tap running for no reason.

    Don't waste paper

Both, but only because I make sure I have good quality paper in which I can't see the ink through the other side.

One side... I hate seeing the imprint of my work through and writing over it.

I'm glad to see it's not just me with this problem!

Hate writing on the left side, it's just awkward. I've spend too much money on paper recently because of this.

I have notepads then transfer the stuff into a ringbinder. I usually write on both, especially if it's the same topic.

Just one side, I don't really like seeing the impression of my pen and ink on a page I'm about to write on - I'm much more of a fresh page kind of girl. :-)
    I bet your fresh

Jokes, but opt for thicker paper, usually more expensive, but really makes a different an ends up cheaper in the long run

just one side, its way more comfortable (well feels nicer ) to push write on the whole pad. But i use loads and loads of paper this way - costs a fortune
