Coordinate axis?

    Coordinate axis?
    "Find the exact values of the coordinates of the points where the graph of __ crosses the coordinate axis".

    What is the coordinate axis? Is it the Y=0 line? This fits with their answer but I was thinking I could also make x=0 (for when it crosses the Y axis).

    Yeah, you're right, it can be either. Perhaps the function in the question only crosses the x-axis, but even then it's odd not to ask where it crosses the axes rather than the singular.
