    M1 Mechanics question!
    It's Q8. I understand part i) but have no clue for part ii)

    The answer is 117N :confused:

    All help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

    Resolve the applied force into components parallel to, and up, the inclined plane and perpendicular to the plane. This normal force will increase the normal reaction of the plane against the suitcase. The parallel force is the force overcoming friction, which will be acting down the plane.
