I'm only doing A and doing Ice on the Land, Warer on te Land and the te Challenge of Weather and Climate. But we're also going to Edale this week to do a CAU on Rivers... Brilliant... *sarcasm*. We haven't really done much for revision in class except for one paper that was like 1996 and a WJEC paper or something... I honestly don't know why... But geography is one off those subjects for me that I love, but I'm not as good as I think I am... But my best friend is like top of the class...

I did the human geography last year too! I'm so glad I did, I wouldn't be able to learn all 6 topics at the end of year 11! :s

Anddd this year for physical I'm doing Globalisation,Tourism and Population change how's everyone finding the revision? I haven't even started, as I've mostly been focusing on the science and language exams I've had over the last two weeks!

urgh I wish our school did that, there's too many case studies!

Physical - restless earth, ice on the land, coastal zone
human - population change, urbanisation, tourism

I'm never gonna remember all these case studies

We've been taught 4 human and 4 physical. Would you advise that I revise all 8 equally or just focus my revision on 3 for each. Should I make my mind up now or at the start of the exam?

    I'm doing:

    Restless Earth
    Ice on the Land
    Water on the land
    Rocks

    Tourism
    Changing Urban environments
    Population
    Development

    I'm doing
Physical: Restless Earth, Ice on the Land and Water on the Land
Human: Development Gap, Population Change and Globalisation

Struggled to remember which topics I was even doing! Such is my passion for the subject...

Geography is an easy GCSE but only if you can be bothered to remember the information from all the case studies and set answers etc, and it doesn't help when you have an awful teacher like me. :facepalm2:

How is everyone attempting to learn everything?

I would recommend focusing on the 3 you feel most comfortable with so you can look at them in more detail. I would still do some revision for the others just in case the exam questions for your chosen topics are horrible so you have something to fall back on

    Hope I helped

Guys for the physical geography which topic would you suggest to learn and you think is easier out of
    -glaciation/ice on land
    OR
    -coasts

And for Human geography which topic is best out of
    -Urban environments
    OR
    - development gap

i do not know either of them so im not comfortable with either but i dont have time to learn them both

    please help thank you xx

I did the stuff on physical geography in year 10, I did: Rocks, rivers and coasts, it wasn't too hard and got an A. I got an A star in the coursework and I'm doing my human geography (Urbanisation, Globalisation and Tourism) on the 18th. Good luck all of my fellow geographers!!!

Neg'd for wishing everybody luck? Pfft.
