Re: where to apply?http://www.push.co.uk/Uni-chooser/s.htm(Original post by laureng31)
I am from the US and want to go to university in England. I will be applying to york and durham but want a back up that I can get in. What unis are similar to york and durham but much easier to get into? Thanks!
I can't recommend this website enough - just to narrow down your options! -
Re: where to apply?I liked the collegiate systems at both but it is not mandatory. I don't mind much what region it is in, but I want to stay away from London. I'm looking at universities with a campus (not just part of the city) and around about 10,000 undergrads.(Original post by Origami Bullets)
Similar in what way? The collegiate system? The type of town? The region? The course content? -
Re: where to apply? And Lancaster's not actually the nearest place, either.(Original post by JollyGreenAtheist)
Lancaster, perhaps?
It's got a semi-collegiate system, a bit like York. It's well reputed and is outside of London. I hear the biggest issue is that there's sod all in Lancaster.
