A Computer Aided Design Draftsman doesn't necessarily require a degree I think, I remember going over it in college, but I guess if anything would relate to it in a university degree sense, perhaps a degree in product design?

i would want to go to uni and do a degree though
    my grades are
    GCSE:
    MATHS A
    SCIENCE B
    ADD. SCIENCE B
    FRENCH C (YEAR 9 ENTRY)
    ENGLISH LIT B
    ENGLISH LANGUAGE B
    BUSINESS STUDIES A
    BUSINESS COM. A*
    GRAPHICS A

    A LEVEL
    MATHS-A
    CHEMISTRY-A
    ACCOUNTANCY-A
    PRODUCT DESIGN -A

would a degree in product design be alot of designing the new products from scratch as im not 2 interested in that side of things but more the side of drawing them out using CAD

There are no degrees just on CAD. Not even vocational ones. Did you even look yourself? Just googling "CAD degree" gives lots of results... though I doubt any of them are just on CAD.

While you can get a job where you're the "CAD guy", what you study in university will be much more broad than that, such as graphic design.
