Whoever said that equity was easy was a NUTTER!
Sorry can't help postgraduate wise, but I'd say that resulting trusts are quite hard as you have all of the different academic arguments that are somehow important yet not relevant outside of the academic world (so why exist?!?)

    Good luck!

Ohhhhh! Well secret trusts are quite fun and easy to remember as it's a bit out of the ordinary... Family homes is really popular for exam questions as it requires combining a lot of area's into one - however you do need knowledge of resulting trusts to be able to do it effectively.

I think you should have some knowledge of the whole of the law of private trusts. The different parts of trusts tend to relate to one another, and it is common for a question which is mainly about one area to test another area as well. In my experience the other parts of some equity courses (charitable trusts, injunctions, equitable remedies etc.) tend to be a bit more discrete and tend to be tested separately.

In my personal opinion the easiest topics are the three certainties/constitution, the duties of trustees, family trusts and breach of trust. I would say that formalities, remedies against third parties for breach of trust and tracing are more difficult. I would say that resulting trusts and constructive trusts outside the family home context are the most difficult.
