That's just tragic, I hope there's a mass failure all round to justify bringing the boundaries really low.

I totally agree with you!! More likely to get higher grades!!

Hi guys does anyone have access to any of this summers (may/june 2012) question papers and mark schemes? They are up all ready (well at least the edexcel one is) and there has already been a thread created for the a level papers and mark schemes.
If anyone has access to them can they either post me a message or link on this thread or privately message me! The question papers with the mark schemes that i am looking for in particular are the following:
    Edexcel GCSE:
    Triple Science (2006 spec): B3,C3 AND P3
    Geography B: Unit 1 and Unit 3

    Thanks.. please help!

I certainly don't go to a private school or the likes it's not about the school it's the students, generally anyway..
Yh okay fair enough but if the teachers actually believe in you a little bit and make the right choices then it helps a hell of a lot.

For example i sat my gcse maths early and ended up with a B in year 10 THEN get this they refused to allow me to retake and then made me do Additional maths with a B!! and know its going to be harder for me to get into my degree course in the future. This is just one example of how my teachers and school contributed to my failure at GCSE

Hey guys, hoping you can help me out with A level picking dilemma.

Basically, I have chosen geography, history and chemistry but I am unsure whether to do English language or English literature.

I am probably similarly as good in both of the subjects, which is quite annoying as it doesn't make the decision any easier!

I will also probably end up doing either geography or history at Uni, if that helps?!

    Thanks

Yeah definitely Literature I've chosen that, as well as History. They compliment each other very well as they both require analytical skills Plus it is respected more by universities!

Re: Official GCSE Results Day Thread 2012! Mark I (August 23rd)
Is it possible for me to receive my results on the 22nd of August because on that day I will be going on holiday and the flight is at 9pm, so therefore missing the results day on the 23rd of August. I have heard that the teachers get the results on the 22nd August and I was wondering whether there is a possibility I could get them on the same day as the teachers.

    Please HELP!

its not legally possible for any of the candidates to receive their results earlier than any other candidates.

No, it isn't possible, I'm afraid I'm abroad too but I'm getting my results emailed to me on the day. Could you not ask your school to email them to you on the 23rd?
