    Sainsburys disipline Procedure for using other people vouchers
    Hey I might be going through a disciplinary for using unused and/or left coupons at the tills, they track usage by looking at your nectar card for none matching coupons. Does anyone know the drill for this or had an encounter with this before.
    Thanks!

    wow I didn’t know this was a thing.

    good luck, I would suggest stating your case that the vouchers reason for being is to discount someones shopping and that all vouchers should be allowed to live a fulfilling life.

    I am actually serious

    My guess;

    You'll probably have a meeting with a manager & someone taking notes to find out what's happened, best to admit you've done it asap in that meeting. Pobably be suspended on full pay, they'll send you a letter with a date & time you have to go back in for a meeting where you can have someone with you (a union rep or colleague) and they'll decide what to do. I reckon you'd probably be dismissed(the sack) tbh, or you might get a written warning.

    tbh, it's your own fault for getting yourself into this. You would have been told that you have to bin the vouchers that are left behind.

    You aren't allowed to use the vouchers, you have to rip up and bin the ones that are left. It's coupon fraud otherwise.

    It technically counts as theft, and will likely be treated as such.

    That's how serious they see it. A Sainsbury's customer has been arrested in the past for using the same coupon too many times!

    We have those instore samplers in our store & they were using coupons for products that they weren't buying. I haven't seen them for a while now since they were caught.
