    Should I "snitch"
Well basically I know someone who has gained a place on a course which is designed for under - privileged students, the way this someone got on to this course was by lying about something. Should I let the course people know, I don't want to be a dick but he is certainly not under - privileged and I feel he may be taking some one who is under - privileged space.

Maybe the University looked at more than one apsect of his/her life? They might look at the area he lives in, his household income, his schools average grade compared to his. He may also have a good PS and plenty of experience. I'd say ignore the matter as they'll find out eventually if he has lied etc.

Universities arent stupid, so if they have missed something at this stage ...they will figure it out eventually and the person will face the consequences! LIARS NEVER PREVAIL.

This person had admitted to me that he lied about something on the form, this something being the biggest factor in deciding whether a place in gained or not.

The unfortunate fact of life, however, is that quite often they do.

Its sad, but they will never be happy people because they are caught up in their web of lies. they may get through life, but they will mentally detiriorate due to not keeping track with the crap they say!!!

    I'd say leave it.
it's been said but I'll hammer it home. He'll get caught eventually, even if it's not during university. He'll get caught afterwards and have huge fine possibly even lose his degree.
