Connecting a HD TV to a PC
I have an HD tv, which i'd like to connect to my PC. Obviously i'd like to get the best quality possible, do I just need a cable?

    Thanks.

TV has the same connection that my Monitor does.

I do it via DVI to HDMI all the time.

If you have DVI or HDMI on your PC no worries, just get any cable that'll fit.

If it's VGA and there's no vga on your TV, you'll need either an adaptor or a new graphics card. The adaptor can't be a passive one (so not a simple cable) as it has to change analogue to digital. The correct type of adaptor costs more than you'd expect, so if you play games anyway you might as well invest in a new graphics card.

DVI or HDMI is all you need.

If your graphics card doesn't have it, it may be worthwhile upgrading it to be hi def...

Yeah, pretty much. I wouldn't use VGA.

Remember, DVI is video only. HDMI does audio also.

I just used HDMI to HDMI, but it depends on your graphics card.
