Do you respect so-called adults who don't have adult conceptions?
Do you respect adults (say early twenties) who still have 12 year old value systems?

It's a free world, anybody can believe as they want. However, if a 20-something thinks it's OK (as a 12 year old may) to beat somebody who disagrees with him or her, does that denote good mental health?

I don't think it's a good idea to decide whether people deserve respect just on age.

Judge people on who they are...and if somebody believed in something like that and lives their live based on that, I think my respect for them wouldn't exactly be through the roof.

I mean, I respect the vast majority of elderly people, because as a general rule they are all really great people...but there was an elderly man last year who was a nasty piece of work and made my very ill grandparents lives hell and tried to arrange people to beat me up to stop me coming to my grandparents defence...I have no respect for him.
