I just don't like Kurt Cobain's vocals, and for the most part the music is so simplistic it bores me. I quite like Grohl's drumming, but the bass and guitar is too simple
I'm not a hardcore fan tbh I just like a couple of their more famous songs.

Grohl however is amazing, I like pretty much everything he does.

Just a list of commercial albums of the time. Adele's inclusion is an incredible lol. And no inclusion of albums from stuff like Orbital and Leftfield just make me realise these people have no clue about anything outside the mainstream or a classic style band.

Rolling Stones should all have an album on the list too. That's just total ignorance posting 4 Beatles albums and most of the others. Oasis too lol.

Dark Side should top the list. The Wall should be up there as well.

I like Iron Maiden but no way was the Number of the Beast the best british album of the last 60 years.

Please, all rolling stone gives a **** about is classic artists. They masturbate violently to Bob Dylan, the Beatles, nirvana and the rolling stones, e.t.c.

For the public (who lets face it, generally know nothing about music) to even pick an Iron Maiden album in a top 10 is better than I would have thought.

This is NME? But that comment is true. But to put Adele in puts a mockery on the whole selection prodcedure.

no, it was a poll held by HMV. I DO remember voting myself. Yeah Adele is annoying. Music aside, I don't even like her voice, and I listen to a LOT of female singers

Fair enough then. I just saw the nme.com link. It says it all a remix of one of her songs (Jamie XX) is production wise a whole lot better than the original. Just dreadfully commercial all these polls are. I can only imagine that the Iron Maiden album went a bit viral. As aside from that album most of those albums are often picks in top 10s as they are commercially successful. Iron Maiden just sticks out completely, and for it to get top makes me think it has to have just gone a bit viral in the Maiden circle?

Abbey Road or Dark Side of the Moon should be #1.

Haven't listened to Adele's album, but I doubt it should be top ten in the last 60 years judging by the odd song of hers I have heard.

Di'Annio's vocals are awesome, I sometimes thing I prefer him to Bruce.
Yeah Di'Anno gets the most thrashing from most Maiden fans. Truth is that his vocals on Iron Maiden and Killers are awesome and made those songs what Bruce could not. Every vocalist has his songs. Example, I would never imagine doctor doctor being sung by anybody except Blaze. He nailed that one.

Honestly I would prefer to listen to Number of the Beast over Sgt Peppers, and I think the Beatles are the better band.

Apart from A Day In The Life (arguably the best thing they did) Sgt Peppers is overrated as hell. I'd take Rubber Soul, Revolver, the White Album or Abbey Road over it anyway.
